We’ve made our booking edit form more efficient for you! You can still update the seats and add-ons for a trip, but it will also instantly calculate the line items and fees and show the change to the total of what has been paid/will be paid on the day of the trip.
Company admins can choose to:
Charge or refund
Add or subtract from the remaining balance on the trip
"Write off" the amount so that it won't show as an amount owed.
For Refunds
If there is no payment larger than the change to the total, or if the remaining balance is lower than the change to the total, the only option will be to write off the amount.
Edit Booking Link Moved
The link to edit a booking has also moved to the right side of the bookings page under "Tools." This is where the form to edit guest bookings now lives as well.
Find The Edit Booking Link
Click Bookings.
Click the Eye Icon to the left of the Check In button.
Click Edit Booking on the right side under Tools.
Make your changes and click Save Booking.
Note: If you (the company admin) have already updated a trip using the old form, you may see a larger/different change to the total than you expect when you make changes on this form.
For example, if you added an add-on to the old form, it will not have been calculated and charged for in the same way as the new form and you will have to decide how you want to handle this.
Also: There will be discrepancies if you (the company admin) change the pricing on a listing and then try to edit a pre-existing booking using this form. We don't recommend it!
