Single Waiver Per Person Per Year Option

Only require one waiver per person per year — soon to be replaced by configurable validity rules.

Written by Benjamin Lazarov

📌 Heads up: The "one waiver per person per year" toggle is being replaced by a more flexible system. See Customizable waiver validity and reset rules for the new options — including rolling windows, season-aligned resets, and trip-specific waivers.

If you only require one signed waiver per person per year, then you'll love this function we added!

When someone books multiple trips, they won't have to sign a waiver for each one. Instead, enable this function and the first waiver they sign will be applied to future trips.

How to enable the single waiver option

1. Click Waivers, then click Templates.

2. Click the pencil icon to edit the template.

3. Check "Only require one waiver per person per year."

4. Click Save.

What's coming

The fixed annual reset is being replaced with a configurable validity rules engine. You'll be able to choose between:

  • Rolling Window — waiver valid for N days from each guest's signing date (e.g., 365 days rolling)

  • Season-Aligned — waiver resets on a specific calendar date each year (e.g., April 1)

  • Calendar Year — waiver resets January 1 each year (the existing behavior)

  • Trip-Specific — waiver valid only for a specific trip; expires after the trip date
