If your trips are showing on the schedule but guests can't book them, there are a few things to check in order. Work through each step below before moving to the next.
This article covers trips that appear on the schedule but can't be booked. If your trips aren't appearing on the calendar at all, see Availabilities Aren't Showing On The Calendar And I Can't Book Anything instead.
Step 1: Confirm Your Stripe Account Is Connected
Origin requires a connected Stripe account before guests can complete a booking. If Stripe isn't connected, the checkout will fail even if the trip looks available.
In the left sidebar, click Payments, then select Bank Account.
Confirm your Stripe account is connected and active. If it isn't, follow the prompts to connect it.
Step 2: Make Sure You Have Guides Added
Every trip requires at least one guide assigned to it. If no guides have been added to your account, no trips can be booked.
In the left sidebar, click Guides, then select Manage.
Confirm at least one guide appears in the list and their status is active.
Note: If you need to add a guide, click Add Guide and complete their profile. New guides must also be assigned to the correct categories before they can be booked (see Step 3).
Step 3: Check Guide Categories and Availability
Guides must be assigned to the correct categories and marked as available for public pages before they can be booked on a trip.
Go to Guides, then Manage.
Click the lock icon next to a guide's name to open their permissions.
In the Edit guide permissions modal, confirm the guide is assigned to the correct Categories and that Display on Public Pages is enabled.
Lead Guide Status:
Check if any of your categories have a "lead guide" assignment. If so, this guide needs to be assigned to that category or available in order for that listing to have availability
Step 4: Verify the Trip Is On The Schedule
Even if a listing exists, it won't be bookable unless it has been added to the schedule with available dates.
In the left sidebar, click Schedule.
Click on a date to open the Add to Calendar popup and confirm the trip has been scheduled.
If the trip isn't on the schedule yet, see How To Add Trips To The Schedule for step-by-step instructions.
Step 5: Check Public vs. Private Setting
If Steps 1 through 4 are all confirmed and guests still can't book, check whether the trip is set to Private. Private trips are only bookable via a direct link and won't appear in public search results.
Open the listing and look for the Public or Private toggle.
If the trip should be publicly bookable, switch it to Public and save your changes.
