With Origin's Partner Code feature, you can track bookings made through other businesses you work with who help sell your tours or activities. We've made it super easy for you to invite partners and track commissions owed to them.
Partners can link to your Listing Pages or embed booking widgets on their websites.
When you go to the new Partner Codes tab in the sidebar menu, you'll see where you can invite a Partner.
You'll be prompted to enter the name of the Partner, their email, the Listings you allow them to sell on behalf of you, and the commission percentage you want to pay them.
You can select as many Listings as you want for your partners to sell, and you can always go in and edit this later. This allows you to make sure they are only selling what you want them to sell. For an example, maybe you set up a special type of offering just with one partner, you can make it so they can only offer that Listing and not your other Listings.
Commissions will be calculated based on the base price of the Seats for the Listing, excluding taxes and fees. You can use the date range filter to select the dates you want to calculate the commissions from.
Once the Partner has generated bookings for you, their commission percentage cannot be changed, and the Partner cannot be deleted. You can deactivate the Partner to disable their links.

Origin only calculates the commissions. Origin does not send payments to Partners on your behalf.
Any agreements with your Partners about what they are owed and how you pay them are your responsibility.
Once you have added your Partner, you can send them a pre-made email that includes a link to a page with their Partner-specific links to your Listings.
You can also send that web page directly to your Partner by clicking and copying the link provided. It will take you to the web page where you can see all of the Partner links.
By viewing the Partner Code links, you can see the different options your Partners have to generate bookings. They can use the pre-made Listing pages, or embed the Origin Booking Widgets into their own websites.
Bookings made through these links will track commissions since they have a special ID in the links and embed links. Each Partner will have a unique ID that will track bookings made through them, so the commissions are calculated correctly.
