How Guide Blocks Work For A Guide Working For Multiple Companies

How to edit time blocks for guides working at multiple guiding companies using the Origin software

If the guide has one profile at two companies, it prevents overbookings between the companies. The guide can choose what company they want to be blocked for so they can be available for the other company.

Edit Company Block Time For Guides:

  1. Go To My Schedule.

  2. Click Add Blocked Time.

  3. Select the company for which you'd like to add blocked time from the dropdown.

  4. Add Start and End dates (end date if you want it to be multiple days).

  5. Select any repeat dates (if applicable).

  6. Add a date in the Repeat Until box if you want to set a repeating day every week until the end date.

Edit Company Block Time For Admins:

Admins can edit Guides' schedules and block time. Here's how to do that.

  1. Click Settings, then Users.

  2. Click the Calendar Icon for the guide you want to edit.

  3. Click Add Blocked Time.

  4. Select your company from the dropdown.

  5. Add Start and End dates (end date if you want it to be multiple days).

  6. Select any repeat dates (if applicable).

  7. Add a date in the Repeat Until box if you want to set a repeating day every week until the end date.
