For Trips
There are a couple of ways you can do this.
Set For A Specific Duration
One option is to set it up for a specific duration, say 3 days. Then your customers only need to book that.
1. Go to Listings.
2. Either edit a listing you've already created or click New Listing to start a new one.
3. Enter the duration of the trip (in hours [i.e. 3 days = 72 hours]).
4. Click Next to save.
One day at a time
Another way is to have bookings be one day at a time, then they select what days they want to book.
For example, if your customer wants to book a one-day option for Monday through Thursday, they select all the days once they're on the checkout page, then they add more to the booking.
This is automatically enabled for your guests. They'll see "add another trip" on the checkout page above the price total.
For Rental Gear
Set For A Specific Duration
Just like trips, this option is to set it up for a specific duration, say 3 days. Then your customers only need to book that.
1. Go to Listings.
2. Either edit a listing you've already created or click New Listing to start a new one for your rentals.
3. Enter the duration of the rental time (in hours [i.e. 3 days = 72 hours]).
4. Check the Rental box.
5. Click Next to save.
Similar to booking trips, your customers can choose additional days on the checkout page. So they will choose the initial day they want to first rent on, then at the checkout page, they can select additional days. This option is above the price breakdown on the right.
Note: Your inventory is tracked across all listings so if there are reservations that overlap days, it recognizes the total count in use for that date on the calendar. Every piece of inventory has its own calendar, so the system knows when it's already booked, and therefore, nothing will be overbooked.
