Manually Assign Guides Option and How to Assign Guides Manually

If admins want to be able to manually assign guides to trips depending on the customers who booked it (i.e. - a guide who's good with kids), now you can!

How to use it

Whenever there's a new booking, the trip will show up on the schedule calendar. You'll also receive a notification of a new booking. From there, you can go into each booking and assign your guide. Guides will receive an email notifying them they've been assigned to a trip.

Selecting the Manually Assign Guides Option

  1. Click Company, then click Settings.

  2. Scroll down and check "Manually Assign Guides". Note: manually assigning guides puts you at risk of overbooking.

  3. Click Save.

Whenever there's a new booking, you will have to assign a guide manually to that trip.

How To Manually Assign A Guide

  1. Go to your Schedule.

  2. Click the booked trip without a guide.

  3. Click the pencil icon.

  4. Open Advanced Options.

  5. Select the guide from the dropdown menu.

  6. Click Save.
