How to Add Custom Questions to Checkout and Waivers

In Origin, you can completely customize your checkout process to include questions you need your customers to answer when they book. If you use Origin's free digital waiver system, the same checkout questions will be included on the waivers for others in the group to sign. This allows you to collect the needed information for everyone who has booked your trip.

You can add custom questions that are asked on every Listing, and you can also add questions specific to certain Listings.

  1. Go to Company

  2. Click Checkout Questions

You have the choice to add a standard Text question, or more advanced options like Radio buttons, Dropdowns, and multi-select Checkboxes. You can choose to make each question required or optional.

To add questions specific to one Listing

  1. Navigate to Listings

  2. Click on the red Question Mark icon for the Listing you want

You will have the same question format options when customizing them per-Listing.

Again, all Questions asked at checkout will also be on your waiver, so they will be collected for everyone who signs a waiver so you have all the information you need!
