Bulk assigning a waiver template to multiple listings

Assign a waiver template to many listings — or your entire catalog — in a single action.

Written by Benjamin Lazarov

If you have a large catalog of listings, assigning a waiver template used to mean editing each listing one at a time. Now you can assign a waiver template to many listings — even your whole catalog — in a single action.

How to bulk assign a waiver

  1. Go to your Listings page

  2. Use the checkboxes to select the listings you want to update (or click Select all)

  3. Click the Assign Waiver bulk action

  4. Pick the waiver template you want to assign from the dropdown

  5. Review the confirmation dialog — it shows how many listings you're updating, the template name, and any listings that already have a waiver assigned

  6. Choose whether to overwrite existing waivers on those listings, or skip them

  7. Confirm

How long does it take?

  • For 10 or fewer listings: the operation runs immediately, and the UI updates as soon as it's done

  • For more than 10 listings: the operation runs in the background. You'll see status updates as it processes, and the page won't lock up

What gets logged

Every assignment — bulk or individual — is recorded in the waiver audit log. The log captures the admin who triggered it, which listings were affected, the template that was assigned, and the timestamp. You can refer back to this whenever you need to confirm what happened.
